I wear 2X and this is the best skort that exists, in my opinion. I have last years version too and truly, would not change a thing. High enough, long enough, cute, plenty of pockets. Inseam long enough to prevent chub rub, I did go hiking in it and got it wet. No notes. Keep up the good work.
I'm a 22-24 bottom, and love the fit and feel of this skort. We are a fruit-growing family and spend all summer working hard inside and out, and I usually live in athletic biker shorts to avoid thigh chafing and keep my cute/casual clothes from getting too sweaty. I wish I had found this skort earlier! I feel cute, but still meet the needs of my physical lifestyle. I wish it had slightly longer shorts to get more of the thigh rub covered, but otherwise love the fit, pockets, and look!
Took this skort on a 5 day paddling trip on Georgian Bay and was happy to have it! It's technical yet cute, the deep sea is a great neutral colour, and when it was wet and I took it off to lay it in the sun, it dried quickly. Of the few pieces of clothing I brought, most of them were alder.
I have worn this skort SO many times since receiving it. The length, cut, material, everything, is great.
My only recommendation is a non-slip material on the legs so the shorts don’t ride up while you walk. Otherwise, perfection!
I love alder skorts! The material is perfect for summer; it's light, but durable, a little bit water resistant, but when it does get wet it dries super quick! These skorts wash like a dream and the colour stays beautiful. I LOVED the bright colours Alder came out with this year!!! (More of that please 😍) Especially that gorgeous cherry 🍒 The only thing I miss is the really nice little "V" cut out slit that the old alder skorts had - that was such a fun, flirty little detail that I miss on the new ones. Otherwise, these skorts are my go-to summer bottom.
