I can attest to having tried very many outdoor brands (prana, kuhl, lululemon, athleta, rei, etc.) and none are as good as these. They have so much stretch that I could wear a base layer in the winter for more warmth. They are so breathable and comfortable. I got so many compliments wearing them and they fit my body perfectly. I’m 5’3” 130 lbs and athletic build with a decent sized peach(purchased size small). I want more but would prefer either black or dark brown or both! please make more colors!

I love how the Go Explore Essential pants fit. The high waist is at the most naturally comfortable part of my body, making me confident in moving around and being active. And on top of that, they look wonderful on.
I don’t know how else to describe Alder Apparel clothing than to say it feels like a hug from a woman who cares. I can TELL these clothes were designed by women, for women. Nothing else has ever fit this well.

I love the way these pants fit-although they are on the short side and don’t look great without the bottom leg string tightened. I am 5ft 8 in
Great multi-purpose pants for travel, outdoors, or WFH life! The taupe colour is the perfect neutral. I like the wide-but-not-too-baggy leg and many pockets. I also own the Roots x Alder version of these pants and they fit similar! I am between XS and S in Alder bottoms and I went with XS for these.
