Comfortable with no bunching!

Absolutely my favourite shorts now. Super comfy with just the right amount of stretch and they don't bunch between my thighs! The zipper pockets keep everything secure and the cargo pocket is perfect for my beachcombing finds. The plum colour is great and I'm ordering the green!

I've been living in these shorts.

This is the second pair of the Roots collab shorts I've bought. Needless to say I'm in love. I love the colours and the fit is so comfortable and functional. I've been living in them since I purchased them! I have also purchased the Roots collab crop top and love the way it matches both pairs.

Comfy and cute outdoor shorts - but not smoothing

These are so comfy. They're thinner than I thought they'd be, but really cute anyways. They have a comfortable waistline but I can still see my stomach and hip dips, which I expected, but if you want something smoothing this is not the shorts for you.

Great basic shorts

These shorts are light and comfy and fit my waist really well. They are a bit thinner and therefore snag and feel like they aren't as sturdy as other Alder shorts, but it's a really great short for lounging and chilling around town. The pockets are a great size which is great for a womens short. For someone with thick thighs - they do ride up on me, but not as frustratingly as most womens shorts.

Designed with diverse bodies in mind

I love, love, love that the inseam of these shorts is longer than the outseam. The dreaded chub rub did not set in until after about 10 miles of hiking.
