ARCHIVES: surf's up swim one piece

Fabric is amazing - very compressive and soft, it feels super high quality and I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. I was on the fence about buying swim because of the final sale condition but the alder team was so helpful with advising me on the best size to get. If it's helpful for anyone else, I'm 145lbs and a C cup. I also bought the performance set and found that the swim fit a bit smaller so if you're between sizes, I would probably size up. Stoked to wear this all summer, the back is so cute and like all alder ITS SO COMFORTABLE.

Was really excited to get this one piece. While material and feel of the fabric were great, it is short. I had read previous comments on this from taller people and I hoped I would be safe at 5'7" but unfortunately not. Bathing suits are really hard to get a good fit, so I really wish there was an easy way to try before we buy. I looked for swimwear at one local Alder retailer but they didn't carry it. Perhaps if the leg openings were seemless it would have made the overall height issue better. Instead they're a bit rigid and not super forgiving.

This item just didn't work for me. Technically it fit, but the weight of the abdomen was pulling the straps down aggressively into the shoulders.

The fit was kind of weird - the straps were really far apart and felt like they were going to slide down my shoulders. I don't have super narrow shoulders or anything. Ended up returning.

I’m 5’9, 170 lbs - an XL is still too short in the body, doesn’t fit well in the chest area, straps are loose, but shows some side boob.
